How Nonprofits are Coping with COVID-19

November 19, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Learn how nonprofits are staying compliant through the pandemic and how they have shifted operations, programming and fundraising.

According to Hawai‘i Public Radio, Hawaii’s nonprofits collectively employ 53,000 people, just over 11% of the state’s workforce, generating more than $8.24 billion in annual revenues. COVID-19 has challenged many business sectors including nonprofits. The pandemic has shifted the way organizations operate, interact with the public and raise funds.

Join Ryan K. Hew, Managing Partner of Hew & Bordenave, LLP and guest speakers Lesli Yano (American Heart Association), Randy Soriano (Rotary e-Club of Hawai’i) and Beverly Santos (Hawaii Food Bank) to learn how nonprofits are coping with COVID-19.
