The Hawaii Rainbow Chamber of Commerce, along with our sponsors University of Phoenix and Kapu Technologies, invites you to join us for a panel discussion on LGBTQ+ Resource Groups.
Employee Resource Groups, also known as Affinity Groups or Diversity Groups, aim to help promote equality in the workplace and to give LGBTQ employees a sense of belonging. LGBTQ-based Resource Groups can help craft nondiscriminatory workplace policies, help develop sensitivity training programs, and promote a more open and accepting workplace for all.
Our panel consists of business leaders from various organizations that have established Resource Groups including Chad Yamamoto / First Hawaiian Bank, Andy Downes / Bank of Hawaii, Rodney Baptiste / First Hawaiian Bank, David London / HMSA Project Lead and Doug Jeffs / HMSA Innovation Center.
We’ll do a structured Q&A session followed by open questions from the audience. Enjoy refreshments and networking with other LGBTQ individuals and allies in the Honolulu business community.
If you’re considering starting a LGBTQ-based Resource Group or if you’re looking for ideas on how to take your Resource Group to the next level, join us!
